Katherine Snyder was born in New York and made Aliyah to Israel in 1983. She is an expressive painter who captures the beauty of the present moment when it is being transformed through the play of light and shadow, enhanced by the vibrant use of color. Each painting is a journey into a moment of the life of a Jerusalemite.  Also included are views of sunrises, landscapes, and floral still lifes.
