Annie Bendayan: The Play of Light in the Eternal City

Annie Bendayan (artist nom de plume DYANI) (b. 1955, Tunis) moved to Grenoble, France, at the age of six. Her love for Israel led her to immigrate at the age of twenty.

DYANI presents a journey of color, light and emotion in a personal view of the beauty of the eternal and potent city. This series of paintings conveys a personal and poetic vision of Jerusalem, the eternal city. With vibrant colors, rich textures, and the brilliance of gold leaf, these semi-abstract works capture the luminous and complex essence of the city. They reflect a renewed energy and a quest for hope during a challenging time. Each work invites contemplation of Jerusalem's resilience, timeless beauty, and the light that continues to inspire.
