Jeff Allon: Personal Observations | Paintings and Drawings

Jeff Allon (b. 1954, Pittsburgh), a driven figurative realist painter, is a master of capturing the human condition through meticulous observation. His extensive journey—from the United States to England, Italy, Israel, and back—reflects in his diverse artistic output. Educated at Hampshire College and Croydon College (London), and influenced by Edward Hopper, Richard Diebenkorn, and Euan Uglow, Allon’s work spans portraits, landscapes, and still lifes. His paintings, whether of a glistening bottle or a crushed tin can, exhibit an unwavering dedication to form and color. Each piece reflects a deep exploration of anatomical structure, light, and the sitter’s personality. Exhibited internationally and held in private collections worldwide, Allon's art offers a compassionate, insightful view into both the timeless and fleeting moments of his subjects.
