A Letter to Noa
Haifa Theater
An Israeli family drama
Noa, a 44-year-old widow, is raising two sons alone: Uri, who is in an air force pilot’s course, and 16-year-old Yotam. Her husband was killed by friendly fire in the Lebanon War 15 years ago. She meets Amnon, a guide with the Society for the Protection of Nature, an avid bird-watcher, and sets out with him on a trek in the Judean Desert. They fall in love, to the displeasure of her two sons. Torn between her love for her children and Amnon, Noa reaches a dead end. Will she manage to connect the fragments in her life and begin afresh?
