Poetry Slam Israel hosts Dori Ben Zeev and shakes up the stage with a performance of spoken word accompanied by live music. The performance is based upon the model performance Poetry in Motion—animated films created through an encounter between promising young directors and spoken word by outstanding poets active in Israel today.

Poetry Slam Israel was created with the aim of promoting spoken-word art in Israel. Since its creation, the organization has initiated hundreds of performances, workshops, festivals, special projects and in particular, has turned the art of the spoken word into a legitimate, popular and available tool of expression for all wishing to utilize it.

The poets whose poems will be animated: Yael Hetz, Tal Cohen, Pedro Grass, Yoav Talmor, Anat Dremer, Arik Eber, Alan Pot-less, Tchelet Zohar, Jimbo Jay and Roy Ravitzky

Dory Ben Zeev is a multidisciplinary artist, broadcaster, lyricist, vocalist and actor. To all of the genres with which he has been involved, he brings great originality and innovation, creating surprising and fascinating connections, deciphering anew each time the sound of the Hebrew language and always aware of current trends.
