Where is Pluto

The Israel Chamber Orchestra

Screen artist: Anat Moskovits

A live, rhythmic theatrical musical rendition of Lea Goldberg’s classic Where is Pluto, which tells the story of Pluto, a dog from Kibbutz Megiddo, and the world of nature around him.

Vocalist-actors and various musical instruments in the orchestra represent the animals in this famous story, and children become acquainted with the musical instruments and their sounds as well as the story behind the writing of the book.

The Israel Chamber Orchestra, under the musical direction of Ariel Zuckerman, was found by Gary Bertini in 1965 as the Chamber Ensemble. The orchestra devotes thought and imagination to its programs, aiming for concerts that will please sworn lovers of classical chamber music as well as those willing to be exposed to a different musical experience. The orchestra’s concerts for children are an important part of its aim of making classical music accessible to a broad audience and to children in particular.
