Three thousand years ago, the Israelites were divided into tribes, each fortifying itself in its domain. "In those days, there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes." Against this backdrop, a new leader emerges - Samson, a warrior, a judge, and a Nazirite. In Philistia, Samson meets Delilah and ties his fate to hers, but as we know, love is as strong as death, and jealousy is as cruel as hell.
In this moving story of life in this land, myth and ethos are intertwined, as well as destruction and love, one individual's fate, and that of a people. Jabotinsky compared the judges' period to the days of the British Mandate, but today, the book proves no less relevant.
