Journalist Dr. Hila Korach is the Channel 13th Central Evening News Bulletin presenter and hosts a weekly program on Galei Tzahal. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and political science, a master's degree in diplomacy, and a doctorate in medicine. She is married to Dror and is the mother of Ori, Alma, and Rona. 

At the meeting, we will talk about the role of news releases in determining Israel's daily agenda, the coverage of the most widely-filmed war in Israel's history, the way news desk decisions are made (for example, what is published, and what is not),  her decision to prefer the journalistic career over medicine, and how independent is Israeli press.
