Israel. Summer, 1973. Oded, a Tel Avivian bohemian, falls in love at first sight with Rachel, a middle-class girl from Savion. Rona, a broken-hearted songwriter and Oded's "mythological ex," does everything she can to sabotage the relationship. Rachel's conservative parents and Oded's motley crew, entrenched in their worldviews, collide in a fascinating and humorous romantic triangle story, interlaced with twenty-five Arik Einstein songs that have become part of our lives' soundtrack.
The musical doesn't recoil from asking poignant questions about our existence here. It also offers a romantic perspective –naïve perhaps - of the days when we were dreamers and believers.
