Adapted and directed by Irina Gorelik
Translated by Efim Rinenberg

Stefan Zweig was considered Europe's most successful writer during the first third of the twentieth century. However, the 1930s put an end to his career. The Nazis burned his books.
He fled Europe and, from across the ocean, watched his homeland drowning in horrors. As an exile, disheartened and crushed, Zweig wrote his parting work from Europe, Yesterday's World, which also became his saying goodbye to the world.
Based on Zweig's writings, the show delves into the complex inner world of a man trying to opt for the good in a disintegrating world.
